I really like the way author has presented this book enjoyed reading and will suggest everyone to read it once...for sure
I Am going to give an honest review of the book.
I did like the stories in the book. It was a great compilation and something I enjoyed reading.
However, the editing could have been better. ) Besides that I have no complaints.
There are some refreshingly different voices in this book, from many parts of the world. I enjoyed experiencing viewpoints that contrast with my own. There are a lot of stories here for the money, so I think that it's good value.
I happened to receive an early copy of the book from the author during editing phase and have to say it's a great compilation of stories and would highly recommend this book.
Full disclosure I wrote one of the stories in this book. Had nothing to do with the rest, so my bias extends only to that one story. That being said, I did end up in an early/editorial review program for this, and was not disappointed. There is some very strong writing found in these pages, and it's worth a read for the sheer diversity of it all. This is basically a collection of some of the best stories to be found on the website Short Story Lovers, and as such it's curated from the best of the best. There was one or two that didn't speak to me, but that is more taste than anything else. It's hard to know who to recommend this to, as it's so all over the map in terms of subject matter and content.... but anyone who enjoys good writing, you won't regret this. I'm really only not giving this 5 stars because of that bit of bias in my review, considering the one story I wrote, and a couple of the less appealing entries. If there were 10 stars, it would get 9.
Great selection of short stories. Good read!
Loved it! Most of the stories were engaging in terms of plot and character. Authors did a very good job in compiling the stories. I finished reading the book in 2 days! Wasn't able to keep the book down! I recommend it to readers who are into lite fictional reading.
